Jeff has over 25 years of experience in software consulting and development in various roles of consultant, engineer, manager, and executive & founder with organizations ranging from startups to consulting groups to national membership organizations. In 1993 he co-founded Information Systems Experts, Inc. (now Guilford Group), which has grown to nearly 30 professionals. As a technical professional, Jeff brings extensive experience across platforms, technologies and industries. As an executive, he utilizes the latest development, leadership and business strategy tools in a highly competitive market. He has achieved this success, in large part, by focusing on long term relationships with clients and associates. Jeff lives in Carmel, IN with his wife, 2 sons and a daughter.
Rakesh Kapur - Chief Operating Officer
Rakesh has been a senior IT executive for over 30 years, leading the technology efforts in large Fortune 100 companies like BNY Mellon, Dreyfus, AIG and Deloitte. His experience includes all aspects of managing and delivering information technology with hands-on expertise in software development, project management and support. He has managed teams of 200+ on concurrent projects. He has deep experience in the setup and management of extensive offshore vendor relationships for companies such as Dreyfus and AIG. He has worked on a wide range of vertical markets and projects. Rakesh has relocated to Indianapolis from the east coast with his wife and two children, one in college and one in high school.
Rajan Kapur - Director
Rajan has almost 20 years of IT experience in project management, ERP implementations, software development and eBusiness solutions. He has worked for a variety of companies including Fortune 500 companies like Lockheed Martin, IBM and Philips as well as startups like Silicon Magic in a variety of managerial roles. Before joining Guilford Group, Rajan was a partner of an Indy-based startup that helped small-to-midsize businesses, startups and non-profits with their marketing and IT strategies. His passions are in helping clients discover new and better ways to utilize technology to help grow their businesses. Rajan is involved in the community and is on the board of the Venture Club of Indiana and Indy Chamber Ambassadors. He is also a graduate of the Hamilton County Leadership Academy as well as Leadership Indianapolis’ Leadership Education and Development program. Rajan has dual degrees in Management Information Systems and Finance. He is a die-hard Colts fan and lives in Carmel with his wife and 2 kids.
Scott Evans - Senior Manager
Scott has spent over ten years with the organization managing projects and leading key enterprise development teams through the software development lifecycle. He uses his broad range of skills in client relations, team conflict resolution, resource planning , cost containment and schedule management to ensure rewarding client engagements. He has also helped to define our processes including: Project Management, Software Development, Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Marketing & Sales and Internal Resource Management. Scott holds a Master's degree in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State University. Scott lives in Westfield with his family and enjoys being outdoors, whether it be running, hiking, biking or even (sometimes) working on his computer.
George Johnston - Director
Over the past fourteen years, George has used his extensive knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack to deliver elegant solutions to even the most complex of business problems. He continues to serve in multiple capacities, from Architect, Technical Lead to hands-down developer. Throughout his career, he has successfully led a multitude of development teams, from proof of concepts to multi-million dollar implementations. He has consulted in a wide variety of industries, including: health care, manufacturing, consumer electronics, insurance, finance, ecommerce, technology, and defense. George lives in Lebanon, IN with his wife and two children.
Rob Miller - Technical Lead
Rob has 8+ years of experience in a number of technologies including Java, Mobile and .NET making him an invaluable contributor across projects and multiple platforms. He excels at conceptualizing complex business issues and finding creative solutions that are cutting edge while being cost-effective for his clients. He has extensive experience in a wide variety of industries including Transportation and Trucking, Supply Chain and Logistics, eCommerce, Retail and Financial services. Rob and his wife live in Muncie with their three dogs and they own the oldest continuously operating print shop in America, which his wife manages.
Larry Winters - Director of Business Development
Larry has 20 years of sales experience as a professional working for a variety of companies in different roles such as a global account manager, sales manager and sales trainer. His experience and knowledge acquired over the years has allowed him the keen ability to grow and establish strong relationships with all levels of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, while being considered a trusted advisor. He is a Butler University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing. He is married to his wife Jennifer; they have 5 beautiful daughters and live in Indianapolis, IN. His hobbies include participating in all types of sports and he really appreciates the opportunity to mentor the youth in the community by being a coach for different sports.
Robby Smith - Business Development
Robby has over 25 years of experience in the Executive Recruiting, IT Staffing and IT Project Management industries. For the last 15 years, Robby has focused on developing IT Sales and Recruiting teams with a mission on delivering enterprise IT project and staffing solutions nationally. He is passionate about connecting great companies with talented IT professionals. Robby is involved in the community as a volunteer for several local nonprofit organizations and associations. He currently is a Board Director at IndySHRM, the local chapter of the Society of Human Resources Management. He has also turned his passion for information technology, competitive, and recreational sports into a web based platform that manages corporate recreational and intramural play called LeagueJoe.
Gautam Bose - Senior Project Manager
Gautam is a PMP certified project manager and a certified Six-Sigma Green Belt and Project Champion. He has expertise in the financial sector with nearly 30 years of experience, primarily with IBM and Bank of America. He has managed large projects in business analytics and requirements gathering. As a senior applications development manager he has been responsible for end-to-end development of applications and ongoing production support of completed systems. He is a graduate of the IIM and Yale.
